Dr. AKM Momin
Welcome to the Centre for Hope and Prosperity (CHP)
The Centre for Hope and Prosperity (CHP) has been founded to bring hope, dignity, and opportunity to people through health, education, skills, and spiritual well-being.
Our vision is to empower communities—especially young people and women—by providing health awareness programmes, education, and vocational training, and by fostering moral and spiritual growth. We also seek to build bridges between the UK, Bangladesh, and other regions to promote sustainable development.
CHP is rooted in a lifelong journey of service by our founder, Dr Abul Khair Mohammad Momin, whose work spans grassroots charities in Bangladesh, international NGOs such as CARE and Oxfam, disability development through CRP, and social justice initiatives and equality through the Civil Service.
At this early stage, we warmly invite you to walk with us—through your ideas, expertise, resources, or donations. Together, we can create pathways of hope and prosperity for generations to come.
Md Delward Hossain
I am a graduate of Dhaka University, holding both a Master’s and an MBA, and a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. My career began in government service in Bangladesh, followed by British American Tobacco, before I moved to the UK in 2005. Since then, I have worked with leading organisations such as British Gas and Reckitt Benckiser, and I now lead my own accountancy practice, Del & Co.
Guided by the values of honesty, integrity, and service, I have long been committed to supporting charitable causes through both financial contributions and active involvement.
I was honoured to be part of the founding of the Centre for Hope and Prosperity (CHP), and I greatly admire Dr. Momin’s dedication to humanitarian work.
As an Advisor to CHP, I am focused on ensuring transparency, accountability, and the effective use of resources to uplift those in need. I warmly encourage others to join us in this mission of bringing hope, creating opportunities, and making a lasting difference.
Md Humayun Kabir
Humayun Kabir is Strategic business and people leader with substantial experience in leading business operation, end-to-end supply chain management at regional/global level within highly regulated FMCG sector. building rapport with stakeholders. Expertise in challenging the status quo, raising bar, enhancing business capability & building high performing self-directed team.
During his career, Humayun Kabir has led teams of more than 100 people across Bangladesh and Western Europe. Helped different Team members and colleagues through confidential counselling and mentoring helping individuals to overcome issues such as:
